Día de la Hispanidad: El 12 de octubre, fecha del descubrimiento de América, se celebra en Sevilla con diversos actos que rememoran la unión entre España y los países hispanoamericanos.

Museo de la Hispanidad: Sevilla alberga el Museo de la Hispanidad, dedicado a transmitir la realidad histórica y cultural de la Hispanidad con rigor y objetividad.

Tumba de Colón: Los restos de Cristóbal Colón descansan en la Catedral de Sevilla desde 1899, tras un complejo traslado desde diferentes lugares, incluyendo La Habana y Santo Domingo.

La ciudad de Sevilla, con su rica historia y patrimonio, sigue siendo un referente en la celebración y reflexión sobre la Hispanidad y el legado de Cristóbal Colón.

La Catedral de Sevilla es una de las más grandes y emblemáticas del mundo, construida entre 1401 y 1506 sobre la antigua mezquita almohade de la ciudad. Su arquitectura es principalmente gótica, con elementos renacentistas, barrocos y mudéjares. Uno de sus símbolos más conocidos es la Giralda, un campanario que fue originalmente parte de la mezquita. En su interior se encuentran importantes tesoros artísticos y la tumba de Cristóbal Colón. Fue declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO en 1987 y es la catedral gótica más grande del mundo.

The Cathedral of Seville is one of the largest and most emblematic in the world, built between 1401 and 1506 over the old Almohad mosque of the city. Its architecture is mainly Gothic, with Renaissance, Baroque and Mudejar elements. One of its best known symbols is the Giralda, a bell tower that was originally part of the mosque. Inside are important artistic treasures and the tomb of Christopher Columbus. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987 and is the largest Gothic cathedral in the world.
